What do you guys think of the mix/production?

Sounds way too Bulbish, and I'm starting to get tired of this sound. I wish someone with a more brutal production aesthetic would have mixed this, like CJ for example. Would sounds TONS better.

I like Punisher. It's a good song. That whole "Bow dow, buh deh de bwow we dee doo waa di doo dee" thing is pretty awesome. Best moment of the album, riff-wise. Many of the songs are pretty similar though, mostly during the chugga wuggas. Some of the leads are pretty epic. This album sounds like there is a crazy amount of editing in there. Marco is kinda messy live, actually. I'd probably write tons of crazy stuff too if I wasn't obsessed with playing super cleanly and strictly apposed to editing my own guitar parts. But this album is lots of fun to listen to at work when you wanna get some shit done.

EDIT: This little kid can play...

it's a cool record. but i dont like the production too much on this one, snare could use more EQ or soemthing, guitars aren't big enough, not enough low-end(but thats on all veil of maya records ?). really cool riffs though, and yea +1 to the having someone with a more brutal perspective should have mixed this. that snare doesnt work too much for me, sounds "flat".

Good album, and great band. I wish they'd produce their records a little better though. They could really step things up a level with a more refined sound.

Always enjoyed VOM but not from the production aesthetic point of view.

Would love to hear a Putney or CJ mix aswell...

It's very early(just woke up) but do the guitars pumping a good amount?!

The music and songwriting is great but Misha's production isn't my thing. It's like he uses the same patch and drums on everything he produces instead of making each record unique.
