That's pretty awesome then... not often a band can do that type of stuff successfully in a live setting.

I still prefer Queen, though.

The Eagles have always been a fav band of mine. I grew up with them in the 70's and still remember begging my mom for their self titled album and then getting Desperado shortly after that. I was just entering High School when Hotel California came out. That song has remained in my top three best loved songs from my youth all these years....(along with White Rabbit and Dream Weaver

) I was all over the Joe Walsh solo stuff as well.

Another song from the Eagles that I love is their live cover of Seven Bridges Road. I get chills from the awesome harmonies.

Boston can too. So can Floyd. Back in the day, bands seemed to be better at performing (bands today are more into "studio magic" as you say)...

Thank God the new album is a double album. See the news section of eaglesband.com for more details. I mean, for not doing an album for eons,...at least they did the right thing and gave us two albums worth of material the first time back.

I enjoy the Eagles and I agree about their vocal abilities. I saw them while I was in college during the Hell Freezes Over Tour in Knoxville. I hated them up until that point, but the girl I was dating then loved them. She bought my ticket for me by the way. I became a fan after seeing them live that night.....I was totally blown away!

I love the Eagles too, Hotel California, Those Shoes, I could go on an on,
most of their catalog are classics even the B-sides. I'd have to say along with
Boston, Kansas, Foreigner, Rush, Pink Floyd, Styx and Journey are my top bands of the 70's.
