its true, they did. the bald guy was one of the sloppiest guitar players I have ever seen. and it seemed like their set lasted about 3 hours.

Vreid was about as forgettable as Bal Sagoth. The only difference between the two was that I actually sat through Vreid's set.

New Vreid album leaked... gotta say, yet another fucking awesome album.

I wish Vreid wasn't born out of the ashes of Windir so I could say "Vreid > Windir" without being publicly executed.

Go listen to Sóknardalr and recant that misguided judgment. I never had much interested in these lads, but I'll give their latest output a try as a courtesy to the album's kick ass cover art.

ive heard that one, arntor and 1184, and all were overrated, average "viking" metal. the best thing that ever happened to windir was that dude dying. sales and popularity went up and suddenly everyone is praising windir, though they were hardly a mentioned band before. meh. not that i care, just saying

as for vried, ive only heard one album and it was far more interesting, albeit not viking metal at all.
