Weird Al for PPVIII!

All together now...

I LOVE ROCKY ROAD
So won't you go and buy a half a gallon baby?
I LOVE ROCKY ROAD
So have another triple scoop with me...

 :)

GAWD DAMN! Just when you think he couldn't parody (aka: ridicule) anything better than he did with All About the Pentiums, this one comes along...

I don't know what's more ingenious, the way he can emulate the pop culture crap so well, or that the topics he does it with are amazingly accurate.
Though, I admit, a lot of the stuff from the video describes me anyway. (at least: 'whiter than sour cream', 'got Stephen Hawking in my library', 'do vector calculus for fun')

That was fantastic, thanks for the post, I had to watch it twice because I was laughing so hard the first time!

Aren't Dragonforce a spoof? ;-)

The best video EVER was Weird Al's video of "Taco Grande" if I remember correctly he used the exact Gerardo video for "Rico Sauve" and just inserted a small video box of himself in the corner of the screen... and a few vignettes here or there. Funny shit. Too bad he never did a video for "Can't Watch This!"

Weird Al is my hero, and I bet he puts on an entertaining show as well (though unfortunately I've never seen him).

I've seen him live.

STUNNING. He's simply BORN to entertain a crowd. Around a dozen costume changes, some seriously talented musicians, excellent stage antics and props and backdrops, and the fat suit for I'm Fat brings the house down every time. THE BASS SOLO!!!! The last time I saw him, he asks the band what do they want to play, and they start up Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love, and Al plays it off as if he doesn't want to sing that song, so he's singing the song flawlessly, yet looking depressed and downtrodden on stage! The band
s whailing away and having a blast, and he's sulking and bored out of his mind, mocking them! Hilarious. He's just too good.

Folks, keep him on your radar, and catch his show when he comes to your town.

I'm not sure what he was making fun of (I guess I'm too white and nerdy) but that was hiliarious.

I just saw the tracklisting for Weird Al's new CD on iTunes, and I didn't recognize *any* of the original songs.

It's official. I'm white...and nerdy...and OLD. :waah:
