Listened to Over the Top about 4 times now and finding it better than the debut. But there doesn't seem to be a killer High Speed GTO track on it. Iron Goddess of Vengeance has quite a few nice Maidenisms

Listened to Over the Top about 4 times now and finding it better than the debut. But there doesn't seem to be a killer High Speed GTO track on it. Iron Goddess of Vengeance has quite a few nice Maidenisms

My thoughts exactly, except I like the EP better.

The album is not bad considering that the band (as we already have mentioned) have been revamped big time. My problem is that "High Speed GTO" was a supernova and "Over The Top" is our sun, got the analogy?


Part sounds like Wolf (not bad, is my favorite modern band after all), parts sounds too much like Maiden (nothing bad with it either), specially the 7:33 min 'Iron Goddess Of Vengeance' (which by times reminds me of 'Powerlsave' mixed with 'Mother Russia'),
