I was just wondering if anyone knew of any new/young power metal bands around. Its so difficult to get hold of new music in this genre because it just isnt marketed, so I thought i'd ask if anyone's heard any new stuff recently that might be worth checking out on the net(after all, that's how dragonforce have acheived their success)?

I personally am in a band and things are going well, made a couple of good recordings, but now we've come to a dilemma. We want to put our stuff out on websites and such for people to hear and comment on and download (free of course) but it's been suggested to us that we should find some sort of protection or copywrite before doing so. Is this really necessary? And if yes, what's the best way of doing it?

:hotjump: LOL ill be so happy if someone actually replies with some real help.:hotjump:

Cellador.

Their success is credited to hard work. Just put your music anywhere. Literaly anywhere you think you will get exposure.

I don't know what to tell you about copy right.

as far as i'm aware, a postage mark is legally binding..

so burn a copy of your CD and mail it to yourself but DON'T OPEN IT!

At least in the US, a postal mark will prove that it's from that date.

Cheers mate. I'll look into it a bit more before I do it, but that sounds like something that would set my mind at ease.

And yes, we will be putting our music out everywhere and giving it to everyone

Look out for the name Carrion in future (but not yet, the only recordings we've put out are old, shitty live ones - better ones coming :Spin: )

I liked the drumming and the rhythm guitar parts.

The vocals seem a bit uninspired though.. like it's a guy singing.. that's it.

It needs power, the vocals, especially in powermetal should be in your face, belted out with every ounce of commitment in the singer's body :D

Still, keep it up guys :D
