Great looking studio! Do people use stone a lot in the UK? Most people in the US are going with wood diffusors. I really like the sound of stone mixed with harder woods.
we havent finished with the acoustic side of things yet, we've basically converted the building, left it bare and are going to treat once we've heard the rooms. It would have been a shame to loose something good from the getgo. The control room we've gone for a black box system designed by Recording Architecture, which makes an amazing difference to the room. At the moment, I'm probably going to concentrate on getting the reflections in the drum room right and leave the large room so I can fire the kit into this through the double doors.
