Download it first (right click the link, save as) and the movie file should play easily (it's hard to link directly to it). The file is in Quicktime format.
Yeah, I saw that already. :worship:Olbermann:worship: is so awesome. At least someone in our media isn't afraid to speak up. It's about time someone called the president what he is; a liar and a coward.

I knew you'd appreciate it, that's why I wanted to make sure you saw it. And hey, agree or disagree, it was commentary, and he's absolutely entitled to his point of view. :)

Thanks. The wife and I TiVO his show. And I actually sent that clip, as well as his 9/11 commentary to JK.

Just out of curiousity, what did you think of this commentary?

I really need to catch Olbermann's show. I've only seen clips of it online but they've been pretty damned good.

And for those that watch him enough, was that apparent outrage of his in that clip real or put on?

Passionate, heartfelt, but certainly indicative of his political leanings. Not that he wanted to hide them or anything, they are what they are. I thought he had some interesting points and others that were over the top. Of course, I'm always willing to listen.

Anyway, let's just say I enjoyed him a lot more when he co-anchored Sportscenter, LOL.

He strikes me as a pretty sincere guy. His personality hasn't really changed, since back when he was doing Sportscenter with Dan Patrick. He's a quick wit, a bright guy and he's obviously very well spoken. That said, he does report on things other than politics and even has an oddball segment on his show every day, so he clearly doesn't take himself too seriously. After his 9/11 commentary, my wife officially notified me he's now on her laminated list.

I'd say a mixture of both - his personal passion is clearly evident, but so are the upcoming November elections. Fireballing will help energize the troops more than softball criticisms will, that's for damn sure. I certainly respect him trying to motivate those on his side of the fence. In his mind, it's the right thing to do, so :kickass: and more power to him.

Agreed.
