This came up on the Dungeon board recently and I'm curious now...

What sort of crowds do you typically get at metal gigs in NZ these days? Would a band like Dungeon make our money back if we came for a tour over that way to do a couple of shows?

Hey, but defintiely, power metal isnt as strong here as say...nu or death, but there is quite a following. If you came here youd attract both the old Maiden-heads and the younger crowd. You'd prolly play with some nz bands and be really impressed overall, provided you get booked at the right venue and the promoters get their shit together and promote you guys as deserved!

Your best option is to come here with another band..hinthint Infernal Method... HEHE

My cousins fiance is well connected with promoters and stuff in newzealand. fair enuf hes a comedian but he seems to know everyone.
maybe ill see if he knows anyone useful.
he said hes gonna intro me to people so i can do some work on a 54 stuff...
