The debut album of Swedish doom trio NEX is now out on Next Horizon Records (http://www.nexthorizon.org). The album can be purchased through Hiberica Records (http://www.hiberica.com).
NEX was formed in January 2007 as a result of utter chaos. The same day, the composition and recording of the album "Zero" started. The album consists of 6 tracks, clocking in at around 47 minutes. The band does futile attempts to recreate the old magic of early-ish MY DYING BRIDE, KATATONIA, CANDLEMASS, ANATHEMA, and so on, into a sacred mish-mash that seems - against all odds - to actually work.
The members of the band have their roots in a number of other constellations, including FUNERAL MIST, ZAVORASH, CHAOS OMEN, SUFFER, IN AETERNUM, NOMINON, BERGRAVEN
