Whatever happend to drum god Nickbarker ?
I met him around 5 months ago and he was saying
the whole nick and dino thing fell through and that
Lock-up was no more so what the hell is he doing ?

Anyone else lovin the drum sound on vempire ?
prob old news but ive always loved the sound of the kit on that album
and the playing : )

Yeah me too, Vempire was amazing soundwise (his sound on Dimmu is not to my taste though). If he's available, I know quite a lot of bands who would be interested in keeping him busy, hahaha

Yeah his drums were over rated on dimmu's puritanical i prefer the sound of the kit and playing on vempire, maybe he has packed the whole thing in!

i saw him play with testament a few months back, he played Over The Wall with them, he's an amazing drummer live, so tight and consistent.

Barker's overrated... not trying to start shit, but, he is.

Roddy is damn good though.. I've checked his vids... his technique is there in spades.

Before anybody tries to start anything for J's comment...remember everyone has their own opinion. Let's just leave it at that.

I personally like Barker a lot, he's a machine. Definitely in a league above some of the others. Roddy is killer too.

Nick is fast and tight and consistant AND he does killer fills and great cymbals (including hats and ride) playing... One of my favorite extreme drummer for sure, if not the very favorite.
