Back in 2019, Modern Drummer caught up with the legendary Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden for a chat behind the drums. During their visit, Nicko gave a demonstration of his drum parts for the fan favorite ‘Where Eagles Dare’. Check out the just released clip below.
Nicko McBrain recently announced that he is stepping away from touring. He played his final show with Iron Maiden on December 7, 2024 at at Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Brazil.
McBrain was interviewed by Chaoszine at his restaurant, Rock N Roll Ribs in Coral Springs, Florida, about his decision to stop touring with Maiden and his future plans. Watch the video below:
In another video, Chaoszine delivers Nicko some very special gifts from Finland, including his own Vaasan Sport ice hockey jersey, and a signed Nightwish Human :II: Nature tour bass drum head, which he will hang on the wall of his restaurant.
