The Band Nicodemus based out of Oregon has a new video out now. For those of you that don't know or have never heard of Nicodemus they're influences range from Iron Maiden to Dimmu Borgir and Tristania. The music is very melodic and it kinda reminds me of Opeth. So, putting myself out on a limb here, if you like Opeth Im pretty sure you'll like Nicodemus. Nicodemus is signed onto Sonic Age Records and you can find the video on YouTube and on their Myspace.

Here are some screenshots from the video.

Its a very well pieced together video. Hope you enjoy.

Just a friendly reminder to those of you interested in Nicodemus' progress through touring and such.

Christopher Morris, is thrilled that the band will finally tour overseas.
It feels great to finally get the opportunity to tour England and to do it along side a great band like Liquid Sky. We have had tremendous support from our British fans since our debut album
almost 6 years ago. To play for them now, as well as gain exposure
to new fans, is a dream come true for us. Being British myself, there is also a great sense of pride in this homecoming."

As previously reported, Nicodemus recently unveiled the web premiere of their new long form conceptual video for the track Next In Nocturne. The video is now available at the band's site,
www.nicodemus.us, or at www.myspace.com/nicodemusband. Nicodemus released their third album titled Vanity Is A Virtue through the Greek based Sonic Age Records in June of 2005. The album, which received a review 5/5 review and was deemed a masterpiece by Gothic Beauty Magazine, decidedly owes more to the progressive sound than previous Nicodemus releases, 2000s Tales of the Lovelorn and Necromantic(Dark Throne Music) and 2003s The Supernatural Omnibus (Dark Symphonies), which saw the band focusing on a goth/black metal based sound with progressive elements.
