How anyone can listen to the new versions of Nightfall Overture and The Dreamreader and not want the rest of that album re-recorded the same way is beyond me.

The first album intentionally has a totally different feel to it. Although the two songs from that album turned out amazingly well in their new versions, I don't know if all the songs on that album would work that well in the same style as those two songs.

I agree, the production style on Breathing Shadow is quite a part of the whole sound. As much as I really like the new versions, I still like the old ones too.

Don't get me wrong, I love the first album. I definitely think they would all work in a more updated sound, sure some wouldn't be able to be done note for note, step by step, but that's what would make it so great. That's why I say it would be like a different album.

I'll take what I can get, though.
