I've been listening to this album alot, and quite simply; it's fantastic! What's anyone else think?

I have only heard the Breathing Shadow, Closing Chronicles, and 'I'. I prefer the Breathing Shadow, which I would rate in my top 10 albums for sure. How would you describe 'Alive Again'??

I love this album! I own all of theirs except for "The Closing Chronicles" which I've heard tonnes of times, just never got around to buying it.
Each album has something good about it, but the first four are the true classics to me anyways.

The only Nightingale album I own is The Breathing Shadow, mainly because I find its blatant Sisters of Mercy ripoff thing kind of charming and fun. The other albums I heard by them (him?) didn't really do much for me. Though I don't remember which ones those were. They're still on my list to give them a proper listen sometime. But they didn't seem to immediately catch my attention.

well, i absoloutley cant stand listening to anything dan swano has been in. Except one or two bloodbath tracks.

I love the guy, but I can TOTALLY see how someone would not be able to stand it. lots of cheese factor and poppy songwriting

i fucking love this cd. it's cheesy. it's not too complex. it might even be average production & technical ability. but you know what? the songs kick ass, and for the amount of asskicking they do, the disc is one of my favorites.
