I like what I've heard of Seven Kingdoms online. I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do live at the ProgPower Mid-Week Mayhem show this year.

Release taken from the Nightmare Records Forum:
Nightmare Records has announced the signing of Florida-based, female-fronted power metallers SEVEN KINGDOMS. The band's self-titled debut album will be released on July 13.

According to a press release, Nightmare Records owner and prog-power vocalist Lance King "was impressed with the band's vocal siren, Sabrina Valentine. Her unique, warm and melancholic melodic sense combined with this speedy power metal band should please fans that are into the sound of BLIND GUARDIAN, EVANESCENCE, NIGHTWISH, ICED EARTH, WITHIN TEMPTATION, EPICA."

Formed in Deland, Florida in 2007 by Camden Cruz and Bryan Edwards, SEVEN KINGDOMS entered Morrisound Recording in Tampa in August 2007 to record its debut self-financed independent release, "Brothers of the Night", which was lyrically inspired by the literary works of George R. Martin.

After playing shows throughout the Southeastern region of the United States with such bands as SONATA ARCTICA, THE AGONIST, STEPHEN PEARCY and CIRCLE II CIRCLE, SEVEN KINGDOMS returned to Morrisound in 2009 to begin work on its self-titled sophomore effort.

"Seven Kingdoms" track listing:

01. Prelude
02. Somewhere Far Away
03. The Ones Who Breathe The Flame

OMFG THEY WERE SO INCEDIBLY AWESOME & BADASS THIS PAST WEEKEND!!! :kickass:
My good friend & metal brother, hoyt has been trying to get me to see
them for the longest time, and I'm so freakin' glad I did!!! :D
I just saw them this past saturday night for Hoyt's Pathfinder
Midsummer Meltdown Featuring A Tribute To Dio!
There were several local atl bands, Paradigm, VOR, and Eternal Hour
and Seven Kingdoms!
Seven Kingdoms did Rainbow In The Dark w/ guest vocalist Patrick Parris!
They literally blew me the F' away btw!!! :headbang:
At times, reminded me of Iced Earth, especially their more Power/Thrashier songs,
and also reminded me a lot of a heavier Nightwish!!!
Just A great freakin' band live!!! All I can say is, YOU ARE GONNA LOVE THEM!!!
And Eternal Hour were the headliner & their whole show was nothing but DIO songs!
Reese Martin lead vocalist from Brazen Angel did "The Mob Rules & also did a great job & nailed that song!
Patrick also did Dio's "Don't Talk To Strangers", and did a great job too!
Matt Smith lead vocalist for Theocracy did Dio's Rainbow classic "Kill The King"
Dan from VOR did "The Last In Line" w/ EH & "Hungry For Heaven" w/ VOR
I was also a guest singer w/ Eternal Hour, I did Dio's Rainbow classic
"Long Live Rock And Roll" !
Sorry, to get off topic,
I'll just close by saying,
SEVEN KINGDOMS WILL KICK YOUR ASS WHEN YOU
SEE THEM!!! :headbang: :kickass:
