Nightwish are pretty damn cool. I *cough* downloaded a compilation album to see what they are like. Very different. I like it a lot. They do a fantastic cover of Gary Moore's "Over the Hills and Far Away".

i just heard it at 4u rocknmetal.com i wasn't paying attention too well...now that i found them on rhapsody...i can understand why the vocalist is female...

i was building pc's when i heard it...

Im digging Dragonforce right now....its nice to get metal in non minor chords.

Nightwish is a female opera singer on leads and some viking dude lead guitarist with a cool voice.

They do a fantastic cover of Gary Moore's "Over the Hills and Far Away".

Dude, they are just playing the song exactly as Gary Moore did. Even the solo's exactly the same. It's like Gary Moore just got a female to sing his song.

If you didn't know, they fired Tarja, the vocalist half a year ago. Also, their bass player is the male singer.(I'm no Nightwish fan, I don't even like them, it's just that they're Finnish too and I know stuff about Finnish bands)
