Ninja Cat

Holy shit if that isn't the truth. It's very rare to find a cat that actually cares about their owner, or other humans for that matter

Neither did you ever own a cat, right?
What makes you think that? I'd love to hear it...

You cannot compare apples to oranges.
Cats just have a whole different way of communicating with you.

Don't get me wrong. I love dogs and cats equally :)

Nope, I've never owned a cat Bernhard, you're right - just goldens :) I have spent a ton of time with the cats of friends of mine over the years, though, and that's where my impressions come from (but of course, there are always exceptions)

yes my cat is very independent as well and i think he thinks that he owns me lol but i mean he is very loving as well. he follows me wherever i go 90% of the time. even if i take a shower or use the bathroom he lays down in front of the door. he's almost 5 now and for 4 years straight he has slept in my bed every night like clockwork. he usually gets up at night to go run around and do stuff but he winds up back there. i don't buy the whole cats have no affection. my cat knows his name and half the time will actually respond lol and like i said he sleeps in my bed every night and follows me around everywhere so i don't know how much more compassion he could have. he also loves guns n roses for some reason. he likes sweet child o mine when i play it on guitar he likes the intro. i guess its the octaves and the "screechiness" of it.

That's cool man (and on the topic of pets and practicing, whenever my Dad would practice the trumpet, our last dog would howl along with him  ) I found another hysterical cat vid btw; wait until the end, trust me :D

I enjoy when they are kittens, but I will pass on a full grown cat. I am also crazy allergic to cats, but I have owned two and I can honestly say my dogs have shown more love for me than the cats we have had. BUT why would the cats love me when I am constantly sneezing on them.

I have yet to own a cat, growing up my mom wouldn't let my sister or me have one because her mom had a cat when she was growing up and it would sneak around and shit under the couch and stuff...so she doesn't like cats. Don't get me wrong, cats are cool as fuck man. My girlfriend's cat, Nibbles (looks just like Fifth Horseman's old friend), is so chill it's not even funny. He also meows when you say his name n stuff, really cool cat. That said, he gives no fuck about anyone, like it's a privilege that he's even in your presence, lol. And such has been true with TONS of other cats I've been around - so far. I have quite a few friends that are cat lovers through and through. My friend Dave has literally 15 cats, it's a little disturbing. He has one called Blue that was the runt but he toughed it out and is 4 years old now, tiny as hell and he does show everyone some lovin', almost to the point of being an attention whore. Another friend and his mom have like 8 cats, all of them are pieces of shit, sorry. They try to scratch or maul *everyone*, including my friend and his family despite living so cushy. My aunt has 4 cats. One of my cousins has 2. My friend Ryan has 3 himself (one named Maximus, who is the most epic cat of all time - he killed a huge hawk back in the day!), and his sister has 2 (who are the fattest fucking cats you have ever seen, it's almost depressing, but it makes me laugh anyway). All of those cats don't give a fuck. Some are cool and chill 'n stuff, but they give no fuck if you know what I mean. I still want a cat myself, like my gf's. Just chill and likes to hang around. Whew, sorry for the long-winded post.

yeah well cats don't see it as they are your pet. they are very independent and i kind of like that. it's nice to have a dog drool over you all day, i love dogs too. but what i like about cats is that they kind of like you by choice because they are so independent. it's not a "job" for them to show you unconditional love, you kind of earn a mutual trust. for example, cats are super duper sensitive with their bellies, go upto a stray cat or a friends cat try rubbing its belly it will bite you quicker than you can blink. it took me like 2 years to be able to rub his belly. you kind of have a 2-way trust system with them.

Cats, Dogs, Ferrets, Turtles, Bunny and Fish of all kind. Right now I have a little 1/2 Shih Tzu 1/2 Chihuahua and a Golden Retriever. I always found my cats very loving as well as my dogs, Just in a different way.
