Nirvana were great, far from being the best technicly but they created this great depressing atmosphere in their songs that is just so sweet. Call me weird but that's what I think. Kurt Cobain was also a pretty damn good songwriter, the same I cant say about his guitar playing (yes he is not the seventh greatest guitarist ever like some said *cough* Roling stone magazine *cough*). Alice In Chains is fuckin sweet too. "Dirt" is one of my favorite albums of ever.

There's really nothing good about this band. The music is boring, the same lyrics are repeated 80 times, the voice is awful... the most overrated band ever in my opinion. What a crap! uke:

Nirvana has lots of great songs. I haven't any of their albums or even specially like one but that Live Unplugged. Live album is one of the greatest live albums I have ever heard. Best Nirvana songs are Polly, Smells Like Teen Spirit, Rape Me, Lithium, Where Did You Sleep Last Night and Come As You Are.

Nervgasonya sucked. Alice in Chain was a grunge band but they did not suck. Grunge was not hardrock it was grunge and its imfluence lives on in alot of todays popular heavy music, stuff they call post grunge for whatever reason.
