Yea, Peter needs to start gettin into shit like Per and Martin...

Well some people show their enjoyment differently. I think there's a side of Opeth that's just as stoic as Peter is on stage. I'm fine with it.

pete's stance is the best, he has that whole lean back rest the guitar on my leg thing going on...and even during that he headbangs pretty sufficiently lol

seconded.. although tbh imo theyall rock... woot

Martin Mendez IS fucking insane onstage! He plays with so much enthusiasm its just awesome to watch. They all are and it just looks like they are having so much fun on stage. It gives them a really cool presence.

I loved Lopez when I saw them live, he definitely kicked ass behind the set. Too bad it is almost a rarity to see him tour anymore. I so wanted to see him in New York, but even if he just joined the tour at that date, I dont know how used to him the band and himself would be. Maybe im overthinking that, but if he just up and joins them on one of the dates, he would probably be rusty for a show or two before he learned the set and the other members got used to playing live with him again.

cho not ovathinkin.Good point, i think it probably would be hard to learn that many sets in the orders and everytihng, he may end up being a little rusty, but he still owns and if he decides to join for a few sets then good for him... if he does, hopefully...

^ although the probability of lopez coming back in the middle of tour are slim, I hope axe plays the new york show on thurs no matter what. Lopez would probably be pretty bad if he just came back in now.

What if Lopez came back tomorrow? I would love for him to be at the NYC show, he is one of my favorite drummers, and I want to see him in his full glory instead of that shit at SOTU where they only played 3 songs.

i think he would ruin everything tbh... he couldn't possibly be up to par at this point
well you never know, he could be secretly practicing for his big re-entry debut in his basement... or in mikes basement..

Yes, I would be very surprised if he just popped up in NYC on thurday. It would definitely make the show more special. I doubt it though, everyone has their health problems, and some people just have it worse. He keeps having one problem after the other, and its not like this has never happened to anyone before.

Waz, Mendez doesn't windmil. At least not very often. In fact, he windmills 1 out of every 8,000 times he headbangs. PEAC EOUT

^i think there was a video where mendez is windmillling, but maybe i am wrong..

you know.. it's like watching a "big foot" video... as hard as it is to believe it, there's actually some good proof to back it up!
