Nocturnal Rites?

What happened with this band? We're going on almost a decade with no new material, although last I'd read back in 2010 they were working on an album. They continued to tour into 2012 and then the website just went dark. Facebook page not updated since 2013. I've never heard about an official breakup and it seems odd for a band of their stature to just go off grid for so long. What gives?
