Non metal rock track - how's my recording/production?

Just recorded a track that isn't metal, it's a cover of a song by Idlewild but I'm looking for some feedback on the mix and recording in general. I'm quite interested to hear how the mix translates on other people's systems. Cheers!

there's a lot of background noise, and the mix seems a little too boomy. try using a low/high pass eq on certain things in the mix to clean it up a bit, and scooping out some of the boominess around 250-600hz will probably help.
