Non-sensical lyrics

I did a quick internet search on Portal earlier. There's been at least 3 Portals over the last decade or so, including an ambient electronica band.

Portal's vocalist shouts his lyrics through a gramophone funnel. It doesn't sound anything like Nile, though.

I edited my last post for pettiness holds no merit and it was edited not a minute after posting through hindsight.

As for the lyrics, yes they are bizarre, obscure and highly detailed. We are creating a fictional sphere with very relevant tangential threads. This is so we can assure anything we do is unique and ORIGINAL. I don't think anyone can argue with that, nor put it down.
But we won't just let it sound like some ridiculous banter speiled for the sake of obscurity and intellect. As previous posts have elluded, all shall be revealed in the future when the concept meets it's end and the novel is complete.

It's a two way street as to whom we appeal to and the niche market therein. We seem to have found quite a large following in this country and abroad - far more than we ever expected or cared for, and for that has certainly surprised us. I'm sure our niche market is not as narrow minded as some of the comments posted in this thread, hence their ability to absorb what we create.

Respect. I actually appreciate the time you've taken on your lyrics and image, even if I don't understand them.

I actually have taken the time to listen to your cd's plus I also have actually watched an entire set. Both with an open mind....I do like a lot of extreme/death/black metal but your band just in lamans terms sucks.
My 6yr old nephew thinks it is fun to play dress ups in witches hats but thinks it all ends there.
