Thanks man....i owe you one...haha...

btw...you guys heard Sahara & the 2nd album?...

i already have Mabool....which of the abovementioned albums should i get 1st?

Pretty good. I'm also surprised at how good the quality of the actual rehearsal sound was. They also got the middle eastern accent and pronounciation down really well.

well...we are muslims you know?

we do learn a bit of those arabic stuff...

haha...

although i still couldn't figure out the difference between Arab and Hebew..

you guys know?

Arabic tends to roll the 'R' sound, like Spanish or Russian. Hebrew's 'R' sound is a lot more guttural, like coming out of the throat sort of.

great of you to come Jaani...

well Hebrew and Arabic originate of the same language Aramiac which was spoken in this area 3-4 thousthend years ago so there are some similar words but in general it's completely different...different alphabet, different pronounciation and well just different.

you're mistaken...Aramaic was there before the birth of Aberaham...the bibicle hebrew developed somewhat later...
the moden hebrew was revived some 100 years ago by Eliezer Ben Yehuda...before that time the Ashkensic Jews that exiled to what is today known as france and spread throughout europe developed a language called Yidish which is a combination of some european languages with hebrew letters and sounds a lot like german...The siphardic jews(who exiled to the spain area) developed a language called Ladino which is sort of a jewish spanish language in 1492 the jews of spain were exiled and spread in the arab world, north africa etc...

I know what Ladino is. I know someone who translates old Ladino manuscripts into English, Spanish, French and Hebrew.
Also, since I am Sephardic, some of the religious books have some quotes in Ladino like in the commentary and stuff like that. Although I'm not Spanish or Portuguese.
