Anyone ever heard of this band? I've found my new love...it's got the atmosphere of Dredg mixed with down-tempo and doom metal...

I'm listening to their mammoth, all instrumental album "Ruins"...and I keep thinking about the PS2 game Shadow of the Colossus. It would have been a great soundtrack.

Yup, a not very good one. They were a split with Temnozor, Graveland, and Nokturnal Mortum.

Dunno...I know there's a thrash metal band from Finland called Norther...at least I believe they're from Finland.

Altitudes, if you're a shredder, you probably won't like doom or down-tempo music...I've yet to find someone who actually likes both.

I'd say it's pretty damn metal, though. Not completely, but I wouldn't call it non-metal.

Yeah Ruins is all instrumental...I kinda like it that way. I think I'm gonna finally form my doom/down-tempo band and do something in a similar vein. Although they've done only one album without a vocalist, I think I'm going to create this band with the sole intention of not having a vocalist; I want to make it completely instrumental.
