I just put up a free EP and while it's not metal, there are some "harder" tracks/parts (Such as "Dig", #2), and a lot of clients seem to be digging it.
I recorded it all myself, sang/played guitar on all the tracks, drums/bass on track one, and had friends guest play on the other tracks for bass/drums/horns. It's not a "super slick" sounding project, as it's not meant to be, I tried to keep it pretty natural sounding.
