Not metal?! - Christian/Posi Alt-Punk - Need mix help!

Here's the latest project I've been working on which has been a nice deviation from the heavy norms.

Here are a couple questions/concerns:

Is the snare too scooped sounding?

Are the guitars too loud?

Are the vocals too dull?

Personally I would drop the guitars down just a hair and boost the bass a little along with giving it a little bit of grit. I think the snare is decent (not too scooped sound imho) You definitely want the mix to have some punch so drawing the kicks out just a little bit may help as well. As far as the vocals are concerned, only real gripe I have is with the actual performance. It's too syrupy for my tastes, even bands like Sum 41 have a bit of sneer and attitude in their voice. Overall I'd have no problems msitaking this for any other pop-punk band out there as far as mixes go.

Thanks for the feedback! I know what you mean about the performance. The band is very young and vocally everything is very smooth. Not really any heat or attitude to be found anywhere on any of the songs they recorded.

I know what you mean, performance wise the band's good enough but you would expect the singer to be a bit more passionate (especially considering the lyrical content.) Hopefully someone will be able to steer them in the proper direction but the mix is definitely nothing to sneeze at either.
