I have no idea where to put this but I couldn't resist the deal it was. :erk: Should have it in a week and begin doing experiments on it.

On the operating table to shield, repair bad solder joints, improve the bridge ground, and replace wonky pots...

Well alright now... Does Wanda have the time to teach you how to play it too?

Well I love everything about basses but I am nowhere near Wanda's level. :worship:

Although I may try the addition of a tone knob to see it can be done easily. I just need a pickguard to hack up.

Just tear that one up and then buy a new one, it's expendable; look at it as mileage, the secret weapon is in your hands and what comes out of your enormous brain…

The problem with SB-1s and SB-2s is that the pickguards are unique and you can't just grab one off the rack.

I have a chewed up SB-1 guard that I may try to use but the jack area is shot. I'll have to swing by my techs shop and see what he has that I can work with.

I got pots and caps to make kinda like a Jazz control area to swap in for experiments.

I have 2 other basses needing work, bad jacks, shielding etc, before the experiments begin.

I'm a geek what can I say. :erk:
