I've been saying for some time now, that even tough the guys aren't virtuosos with their instruments, they invent such riffs, fills, solos or anything they put on the albums, that there wouldn't have been a better way to do it. I hate Kirk's style and touch but i love his solos. Load and Reload rulz!!!

To be serious, i totally agree! Even though i think (at least) some of them are virtuosos, (at least) according how i determine that word. I also admire them (especially James) as composers... (at least)

The best thing about Metallica is Hetfield's voice, I reckon. I still really like them, not including St Anger of course.
