Yes. It was time to finally give this album a proper, attentive and thorough listen. While I will always dig them musically, I still think the band would be 100 times better with a different vocalist. Let the flaming begin!

I may not be missing out on anything...unless Warrel's solo effort is also musically appealing. Haven't investigated it yet. I have had countless discussions with many folks about Nevermore. And for those that don't know me, yes, I have seen them live before ( quite a few times)...probably before anyone on this board knew me as well! I've also heard tracks from most likely every album. I own This Godless Endeavor. DHIADW is the second I own. For me there's just always been a disconnect between the vocals and the music itself. That's not a slight against Warrel the man, or the band or the genre. It's just personal preference.
