Yeah, I love it. Especially "screams and whispers" and "manic impressions". Very original music. The way they play is pretty different from other bands of that (or actually any) era. The only remote association that comes to my mind is late Coroner (in terms of atmosphere). Too bad the never broke it big.

Ya they definitely have their own sound.There are only a few bands that really put me back to my teenage years and Anacrusis is very much one of them.I never knew much about them .Do you know where they were from?I don't have "manic impressions" was that before or after " Screams"? Oh ya now playing Leather Wolf - Gypsies and Thieves

Screams was their last (4th) album. Manic impressions came right before it (in 1991). The first two vere more straightahead thrash records.
oh, they're from St. Louis, if I remember correctly.
