I can definitely see people hating on it beyond what people hate on them already. it's not metal at all this go around. very mellow in comparison to the debut.

I will give them this...besides any of the older bands they sound like, they really do sound like nobody else in the scene currently (in my opinion, naturally).

Not at all, if you like Ghost you should dig it. it's just mellower. I wasn't what I was expecting but it's growing on me quickly.

I can handle mellow. Make no mistake, I like the new Opeth, but it's not what I want to hear when I put in a CD labeled 'Opeth.'
