Galneryus - Destiny

New song, new album, and a new singer. Wow, I actually like their new singer now because the singer can sing power metal :) Ending solo is pretty good as well.

oh my Japanese is too rusty to get the lyrics - maybe i'm too anglocentric but it would help if they sang in english - in other aspects it sounds good

For some reason I never managed to get quite into Galneryus, this new singer might do it if he manages to make his lyrics somewhat more understandable indeed :p He's good though, and some pretty awesome shredding again on guitars there. I'm gonna have to get that album :D

Malpractice - The Long Run
A recommendation for anyone who likes nice guitars with very technical drumming. Malpractice is a band from Finland who play progressive metal. I've been trying for years to get them to Progpower Europe by recommending them to René (the main organizer). These guys have never played outside Finland, but should! :D

Always loved Galneryus (any time I mentioned them here sparked no interest, good to see some cos they deserve it. If you like these guys also check out Concerto Moon), especially during the crazy costume phase :D

Seventh Wonder - Not An Angel

Holy shit. I came back earlier today from a two and a half day trip to Norway to see Seventh Wonder play (with Illusion Suite as support). Was bloody awesome! And we got a preview into the new album too! If you can ever book a ticket to wherever in Europe to see a band you love for 35 euros like a mate of mine and I did, go for it. It will always be so worth it! :D
