lets do a little comparison with one of SKs releases, Iron Man - I Have Returned

at SK, the CD is cheaper at $12, but throw in a $5 shipping charge (no choices in cheaper postage, mind you) and youre at $17

at The End it is $14.49, which is one of the more expensive CDs, and thats when theyre not running a % off sale and its with free shipping.

so, after all is said and done Im paying $2.51 more if i buy from SK. Now we can throw around everyones favorite slogan "I like supporting good labels", which has very good merit, because SK is undoubtedly one of the best labels out there. the sheer quality of service and releases is evidence enough. and yes, THe End is a pure sellout.

in the end though, again, that $2.51 i save can go towards a mortgage, a toy for the kid or the juliette lewis cd. it is simple economics.
