I heard that the guy was pissed about Pantera breaking up or smth.

I can tell you this: this is a one in a million thing, and it won't prevent me from or worry me to play live. I would say the vast majority of other musicians/bands feel the same way.

You can sneak stuff into any small venue in America, for the most part the security guards are in their early 20's & don't really check you all that well. At a recent show I was able to get my knife in. Not that I needed the knife, but I forgot to take it out of my pocket & leave it in the car. They don't use the "wands" like they do at sporting events or arena shows...

This is surreal... I still cannot grasp what happened.. and worst of all onstage in front of the fans. I have a friend from Ohio who is keeping an ear out for news/reports etc and she lives in the area and from what she heard one of the fans in the pit heard the guy scream "You broke up Pantera" before he started shooting Dime this truly makes me sick, sad and angry... how can shit like this happen? How can some humans be such monsters to make a spectacle like that in front of hundreds or thousands, it almost is like a terrorist attack as it was meant obviously to scare and shock many people.

And to think I saw them play live only but a month ago, Dime you were a great... I will miss you so

I live in columbus ohio, I was at the show last night. My Friend Erin was killed. This whole thing makes me sick. Dime was one of my favorite players of all time. To see him gunned down like that was horrible and then to turn to find erin on the floor........I have no fucking words for how i feel right now. I'm so angry. I don't know who else passed. After the first shots everyone on stage just fell to the ground.............I'm just numb now.
