I just picked up tixs to see his routine at the legendary Newport Music Hall in Columbus. I'm hoping for something between Bill Maher and Jello Biafra. Any and all opinions accepted.

I remember going to the newport music hall all the time. I just picked up my tickets to see him at the celebrity theater here in Phoenix
H.Rollins is ok. saw him in Germany on Popkomm (a forum for music-bizz people) and he was very critical about the bizznizz and it was great.
But not as good as Jello Biafra (this is far more intense and funny)

got my tix for feb in nyc. i am big of his stuff. like spoken word performences. his books are pretty insane man. this will be my first time checking him out.
I dont think I could get past his liberal slant. I thought about going to Bogarts to catch his show but I dont want to support his anti-Bush message as I am a fan of George W Bush and his policies. ( you all can attack me now)
Actually, his shows as of late are less political in nature, and more personal and he tends to infuse a lot more humor than he used to. He's been to some really cool places and met many interesting people and he like to bullshit about his life. That's pretty much the gist of his shows. Oh yeah, he still trashes people in the music and movie industries.

I'm looking forward to it. My show is the night before the Superbowl, so it'll make an already "funtastic" weekend better. Plus, no basketball league Sunday so we can watch the Superbowl. Which means no stiff legs come Monday
