But seriously, I wonder if this guy is convicted or confesses, will people finally quit blaming her parents. Her mother died with the whole world thinking she killed her own daughter.

My mother brought up some interesting points on this guy's confession:
1. How did he pick her up from school when this happened at Christmas and there is no school at Christams?
2. The Ramseys said they put her to bed but this guy is saying that he took her from school to the basement of the house (which is weird anyway if you are going to kidnap someone, why bring them home).
Those are two big ones. Did this guy really do it? Did the Ramsey's hire him to do it? I'm still amazed that they arrested this guy but it will be very interesting to see whether he really did it or not.

I just read that too. Really makes you wonder what the authorities have on this guy that makes him so guilty. Plus I'm starting to wonder about this film producer. Did he maybe tell this guy things that he shouldn't have? Plus his ex said that he was interested in this case and the Polly Klaas case and he didn't kill her so his interest in the case won't automatically make him guilty.
I love a good mystery, just not at the expense of real people.

I gotta agree with you guys. There are holes all over this story. I heard what his ex-wife said about being in Alabama with her when this took place. The guy could just be some nut-job. This whole thing sounds deranged. I'm sure he's probably guilty of something, but I don't know about this. I'm hoping it becomes clearer as more information is provided. It just sucks that a young child lost her life, regardless. That's what really pisses me off.
