I think they had some good tunes, but it all got a bit too repetitive. I enjoyed their first release. The second was ok, but I found there to be quite a few fillers on there and the overall sound was just so dry and dull. Revelations was a bit better though.

They we a bit boring for me. I need something with more of an edge to it. It was like mellowing out soundgarden to me and that doesn't work. I am hoping the new Soundgarden is heavy like Badmotorfinger was

Love old school Soundgarden, but I heard the new Soundgarden is going to be more like 'Down On The Upside'. At least we still have the good old days! :Shedevil:

What about nightwatchman?? I liked his first album but the latter albums tended to get too complicated. More instruments and electric guitars. I thought the idea was to be totally solo, stripped bare and raw. Some of it could be dark but then he went on to become too folky.

And his other project, street sweeper social club. I don't think theyve actually released a full fledged album yet. Just EP's and demo's. I loved them at first. Until I heard their cover of 'mama said knock you out' by LL Cool J. Their cover of paper airplanes by MiA was cute but the massacre of that LL classic kinda soured me on them. It somehow took away from the other stuff I admired.

I like Rage Against The Machine, I like Soundgarden, I like Chris Cornell but I hate Audioslave. I'm glad that they don't exist anymore. To me it was a waste of talent.

Yeah, that LL cover is really bad. I love the original though!

The debut was great, but with each release it became more clear that it wouldn't last.
