They are actually joining the Sebastian Bach band. So much for high profile gigs for these guys. Instead of banging out tunes like "Holy Wars," and "Wake Up Dead," they will playing such fist banging classics as "18 & Life," and "Quicksand Jesus." Some guys will do anything for a buck.

You have to admit, it is rather funny. When is Bas gonna give up the ghost anyway. I saw him open up for Panthraxtera in 1998, and was the worst concert I ever saw. Seriously, the worst, the Akron crowd was booing and hissing all the way thru. What's even funnier is how Skid Row somehow managed to sound WORSE without him!!! I watched about 2 seconds of the "new" Skid Row when they opened up for KISS and Ted Nugent in 2000. I promptly went to the beer line, they were bad. I heard an ad for a Skid Row gig coming to Columbus, it appears they are opening for Jackyl. Ouch.

True confessions of TD: I saw SKid Row with Soundgarden and Pantera in like 1991 or 1992. We actually had a good time. I was a freshman in high school and any band that said fuck alot sounded like a winner. Soundgarden were getting big at that time, Skid Row had a number 1 record, and Pantera were still touring for Cowboys From Hell........seems like forever ago...........Oh yeah the place had seats before Pantera took the stage.

I posted a link, but it won't work, at any rate, go to tickets.com, and then check on shows at the webster theatre in Hartford, the gig is being promoted as: Sebastian Bach with Al Pitrelli and David Ellefson of Megadeth and Paul Crook of anthrax. Thanks Crook, now anthrax are in this mess too.
