I was in an accident so I know how you feel. It's something you don't get over overnight. I wasn't hurt, just my pride. (it wasn't my car I was driving
That really sucks - I hope the owner of the car was covered or rich. I don't anticipate any problems with the insurance company. Last January(06) some tree branches fell on the same car and dented part of the roof. It was noticible on the outside of the vehicle on the passenger side but not on the interior at all. It did knock off the rear view mirror but that was the extent of other damage. They wanted to settle with me and declare the car a total loss because the estimate to replace the roof was more than they said the car was worth. I fought back hard and won eventually. I did settle for about 1,100 but - I avoided having to register the car as a 'salvaged' vehicle because I was able to get it repaired and have the whole car painted to match existing paint job for less than the settlement amount. I'm fairly certain they will be fair with me before I'm forced to go to the extremes I had to resort to during our last confrontation (although I'll be more that eager to engage in another battle if they so desire).

LOL !! Believe it or not... About 3 months ago... The back window was totally shattered by a stray bullet. Never could determine who fired the shot.
You are one lucky woman to find a man who could forgive you after that
. Not so sure I could be that forgiving, I never take the CDs in the car. I've always burned copies for the road. Got in the habit of doing that long ago when I used to record all my LPs to tape to listen in the car.
