First off, Dragonlord is black metal, not death metal. Second, Kreator is thrash, not death metal.

Anyway, my personal favorites:

Carcass (Don't give me that grindcore bullshit...they're death metal [Well, Swansong isn't really, but whatever])
Cannibal Corpse (They're fucking brutal...you gotta love it.)
Decameron (They released only one album...one or two of the members later joined Dissection)
Dissection (Well, they kinda border between death metal and black metal...but whatever. They still kick ass.)
