Jesse Pintado, late of Napalm Death and Terrorizer, has died. WHAT THE FUCK?!?!

Here's what was on Bravewords.com:

Century Media Records has issued the following press release:

"Guitarist Jesse Pintado (TERRORIZER, ex-NAPALM DEATH) died over the weekend in a hospital in Holland. A pioneer in our musical genre, Jesse and his influential sound will be sorely missed. Century Media Records would like to offer our most sincere condolences to his family and friends, and will make a further announcement later in the week."

In January of this year, legendary grindcore pioneers Terrorizer signed to Century Media Records worldwide. Their new album, Darker Days Ahead, the band’s highly anticipated second album, was released on August 22nd. But it was the band's 1989 debut, World Downfall (Earache Records), that took the metal scene by storm. With an as yet unheard of aggression the band became a cult institution even though they quickly disbanded. Following the break up, the main founding members, drummer Pete Sandoval and Pintado, moved on to join legendary extreme bands MORBID ANGEL and Napalm Death respectively. In 2004, Pintado was relieved of the Napalm Death duty and revived the Terrorizer project. In the meantime, he had also played with Napalm Death bassist Shane Embury in LOCK UP.

In a recent interview with BW&BK, Sandoval revealed that Pintado has been battling an alcohol problem, but was said to be coming along. Watch for more excerpts from BW&BK's Terrorizer interview in the coming days at BraveWords.com and in the next issue of BW&BK (#99) - out in early September.

BW&BK offers condolences to Pintado's family, friends and fans.

Thanx for sharing the sad news, Drokk.
