I´m seeing Metallica tomorrow live in Prague...do you think it´s worth praying to someone or something up there, not to hear very much off that pile of crap which they put out last year and called it an "album"?

They only play St Anger and Frantic. Even they know the rest of the album sucks balls big time. I only hope they are better than they were in Dublin last week. Major disappointment after seeing Anthrax twice. Sound was shit, atmosphere was non-existant even with 48,000 people, and there wasn't one good moshpit the whole gig, even during Slipknot, who had the worst sound EVER given to them. Tallica must have been worried that they'd blow them away.

one thing about metallica they have always put on a good show when i have seen them,no where near as good as thrax but all the samea solid performance is surely garanteed!
i think there live shows still have heaps of the old stuff,like angus younf says u have to play your classics!

I cannot help it, but I think James is one of the worst singers ever!!!Absolute crap!!and the drummer??????? shove a full bottle of pivo up his ass and kick it so hard it explodes inside this little fucker!!!!
It's funny that people on this board do anything they can to rip off Lars for playing simple beats, yet if I rip off Scott for not playing as well as he used to and I get flack. How does that make sense?
It's great that Scott can apparently play the old songs as well as he always could! (from what you guys say)
But why is his playing on "Volume 8" and "We've" so low level? It's like he refses to be as good as he used to be. I still have a theory that nowadays he's just handed riffs from Charlie.
80's still had songs written by Charlie but there was more input from other band members. Scott had an ego then and tried to give his all on the old albums. Now he just plays whatever's on the plate. Even if it's a burrito from Charlie!

I enjoyed the show, they only played first two songs off the latest crap, nothing from Load, also I Disappear and No Leaf Clover was in the set. Pretty much best-of. Atmosphere was very good, shitloads of ppl there. Trujillo doesn´t show himself off very much and Lars should really use a metronome! Sometimes his playing was awful (in Fuel he sucked horse dick, couldn´t keep a beat), but overall I liked it.
I was sooo looking forward to Dyers Eve and they didn´t play it.
And we lost to Greece afterwards.
