O/T New Alice In Chains

I couldn't wait and DLed The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here the very second it had leaked (and pre-ordered the album and T-shirt in their UK store), the album is fucking awesome. It tops Black Gives Way To Blue and sounds like it could be the band's masterpiece.
To those who say "No Layne no Chains" - I miss his voice too but give the music a chance.

What little I've heard of this leads me to believe that this is one band from the grunge-era that has aged well and is making decent material with a new singer.

Haven't heard it yet, but I sure hope it's better than Black Gives Way To Blue, which I didn't think was great.

(Which by normal band's standards still makes it an awesome album.)

I bought a ticket for the Chicago show. Not really interested in most of the bands, but I'll show up in time to catch Jane's Addiction and Alice in Chain and the ticket was only about $25.

Yep. That lineup is complete ass. Uproar had good bands in 2010 and 2011, then the tour went to shit after that. Not sure If I'll be making this show in September when it comes to CA.
