...It's so bad, that TD's beloved Ibook mini is getting serviced! The cool part, all of the reviews from TD's mini friends across the nation are not just positive, everyone who sent Tymerica a review is floored with this movie! :hotjump: The great TD will be appearing at the Arena Grand premiere next Wednesday! The overall tone of the reviews of these reviews thus far is that this movie is a stand alone movie and more than make's up for I and II. Most people say it will rank 3rd behind Empire and Hope in the SW canon! :OMG:

I've read the Revenge of the Sith book. If the movie is as good as the book, Episode III will be second best to Return of the Jedi (the one with the shitass Ewoks).

My signature says it all!!

Ten more days!!!1!1oneone

I always ranked "Empire" tops. Maybe I just like sad endings. I dunno, I just thought it was pure bad-ass from start to finish, whereas SW has some long drawn out moments, and RoTJ has more "filler" (ewoks, giant bounty hunting slugs, etc). But, I'm a SW nerd thru and thru, and I even enjoy the Phantom Menace (somewhat)

The Phantom Menace tosses my salad. And I mean that in a bad way. Besides that, I agree with you, ZTPioneer.
You and I, (and TD as well as his nemesis Brentney Spears) all agree that The Empire Srikes Back was the best Star Wars movie. And I must say- after watching 'em all again- Revenge of the Sith may be second best!

I think GL was smarter than we think w/ PM. It got a lot of new kids into SW. JarJar and lil Anni, and pod races and all that shit. For me, I like watching it to see Darth Maul (very underused) Qui Gon (see Maul) and to watch the beginnings of Sidious's evil plan. It's the only SW movie I watch and actually skip through parts. Also, the one I saw the least at the theatre (opening weekend and then again when it was "re" released for X-Mas that year).
I was total fan-boy for Clones, and if it wasn't for the fact that I have watched it 700 times since it came out, I may rank it below only Empire, but I think it falls lower, but it was much close to the mark than PM.

Love em all ... ROTJ is my favourite for one simple reason - it closes the chapter on this wonderful Trilogy (Sextet??). I am seeing the film Midnight on May 19. So can't wait for this... a Star Wars nerd for life. Even better now that my 8 year old son is right into it as well.

I'm taking my bosses son who is 12, and my nephews are way into it. Very fun to see things through the lense of adolesence.

Attack of The Clones was better than Return of the Muppets- I mean Ewoks.
I hate those fuckin Ewoks attacking the fuckin stormtroopers (in Return of the Jedi). In fact, I consider it an insult!
Episode III is almost Jar-Jar free, as well as Ewok-shitass-muppet free. Plus it's rated PG-13.
Revenge of the Sith will be the best since Empire or I'll eat my shit (right after Gasmetal eats his)

I havent heard one bad thing about this movie. Its gonna rule all. I'll be there 12:05 in the AM ready to get my ass kicked. Work that next day is gonna suck but oh well, how often does something like this come around.

Jar Jar doesn't speak, so it is virtually Jar Jar free.

I could call in sick the next day, or take a personal day, but half the experience will be in going to work running on empty sleep wise, but pure adrenalin SW wise. Funny thing is, there is theatre that I can see from my apt. that is showing it, but it doesn't have the works (65 ft. screen, dss, stadium seats, etc) so I am driving an hour to see it. Ugh, it will be a rough morning.

Well, that's what I meant. It would be better if Lil' Annie killed Jar Jar, but oh well.
It will still be better an The Pantom Penis and Return of the Ewoks.
I haven't read Kevin Smith's review of Revenge of the Sith, but I hear he loved it (as will we).

we´ll see. You´re gonna probably disagree with me but after seeing Attack Of The Clones I almost wanted my money back.
The old SW rules!!!!!!!! and PM wasn´t that bad if it wasn´t for the lame ass Jar-Jar.

"TD will be appearing at the Arena Grand premiere next Wednesday!"

You're going to the wrong theatre, man. The ONLY theatre in this part of Ohio to see it in is the Springdale Cinema de Lux 18. the ONLY Digital Projection theatre in the area. Do this movie right, go see it in digital, the way it's supposed to be seen. I saw Episode II in New York City in a digital threatre in Times Square. It looks SO much better in digital.

I am getting antsy as hell to see this movie.. I have to agree with ZTdPioneer on this, I think it is going to be a totally kick ass movie :headbang: and I am sure that I will see it in the theaters at least 4 or 5 times...9 more days

defo looking forward to it..........but i didnt rate the last two at all..............too much love interest.........once you've been spoilt with incestuous love stares and incinuations, tumbling around a grass planet is very bent indeed, no wonder he flips out and turns evil...........

anyhoo in contradiction to the....i've only heard good things comment.......... heres some summaries of the reviews from the poncy press lot in blighty

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/film/4528639.stm

still sounds good to me tho...............the star wars tv soap i am not so sure about tho..........i hope its not like the bold and the beautiful :)

I finished the book and if that's any indication to how good the movie is then I'm definitely not gonna be disapointed.
Episodes I & II should just be thrown in a ditch and forgotten about.

Go to www.viewaskew.com and read a Kevin Smith review of the film. He loves it!!! For those who don't know he is a director (Clerks, Mallrats, Jay & Silent Bob) and gave props to ANthrax before. More importantly is a SERIOUS SW fan

I read Kevin's review. Lots of spoilers (which were in the book of course). I'm even more stoked now. 9 more days... :hotjump:
