I just got back in from the Riverfront Stadium implosion in Cincyville! That was a fun experience. Now I'm sorry I wasn't there for the implosion of the Richfield Coliseum, Market Square Arena, and Three Rivers Stadium. Geesh, what was I thinking. I was in a cluster of people on Fifth who had some kind of cool song/chant wishing that Marge Schott and Mike Brown were both in the stadium when it went. I've got some cool 8mm footage, one of these days when I complete the life and crimes of Ty I'm sure 12/29/02 will be somewhere in the vignette.
O/T: They should blow up stadiums more often!

I saw that on CNN, pretty cool how they got everything to fall in sequence around the stadium...but you guys should have seen the Kingdome (Seattle) implosion - with that huge concrete roof, it made a hell of a cloud of dust...I found this page with some good pics:
