Let me start by saying that I loved your work on the ObiTuarY album CAUSE OF DEATH. I'm currently trying to learn your guitar solo for "Find the Arise", great stuff dude. Care to coment on your experiences with the band?

Are they still playing today? Last time I checked, Trever left and is playing or a band called Catastrophic.

Obituary have split. A couple of the members (I know that John was one) had steady jobs and they were nolonger willing to put in the time touring and stuff that the band would require. I think Trevor was a little bitter about it, but he's bounced back with a new band. Donald is playing drums now for Andrew WK (y'know, that guy with the "Party Hard" song), so he's now in a band with some international mainstream attention (which I'm happy about, he was always one of my favourite drummers, a really distinctive style, he deserves to make some money from it).

allen west has a band called lowbrow. they are ok but they and catastrophic sound like half of obituary. i do like james work on cause of death also.

I was kinda hoping Allen West would just disappear Man, I hate his solo's soooo much Not that I want to dis another guitarist too much, but Obituary were so much more with James.
