OBSIDIAN KINGDOM is an independent music project hailing from Barcelona. While distantly rooted in black metal, their current album ‘Mantiis – An Agony In Fourteen Bites’ takes a bizarre step outside the boundaries of extreme music. Mantiis is a conceptual album featuring a single song in fourteen parts which flow through different genres. And that includes a truly spine-chilling Spanish trumpet solo! The band spares no sound resources to portray the most varied scenes in this emotional journey; from quiet despair to utter violence.
