Odd speaker problem

So, I'm currently recording a band, while recording I've been getting odd problems coming from the speaker it's seems like a mixture of a ton of reverb/phaser and then tossed into a bath tub. Originally thought it may be pod farm being odd or their guitars, but we recorded using one of my basses, without pod farm, I switched out various cords. If i wait it out for about thirty seconds or so, i'm usually ok to go. This is obviously a huge annoyance.


Any ideas? Anyone else ever have a problem like this?
