Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. The wife and I are going to visit her folks and friends and all ... I just want some currywurst, turkish pizza, and to get hammered at Pauls Metal Eck (coolest metal pub in Berlin) :kickass:

Leave tomorrow, can't wait

Prost!

haha!

Döner is also on the food list! I'll have to check into the Remoulade though ;)

Only thing that sucks is we really wanted to go back up to Hamburg for a couple nights but its just not gonna happen this time. Hopefully next time

Have a bitchin' time dude! I dunno if I'd be able to enjoy a 2-week vacation honestly, I'm such a homebody

Enjoy the vacation! we loved Berlin!

Also, check some things called "BIFI", we bought them at supermarkets near our hotel, they're tiny fried sausages :D

if you try bifi also have a "carazza" a little pocket pizza ;-) very tasty !

Not a real fan of BIFI, but I fucking love Pizza Carazza, great when you have a hangover
and you can get it all the time because every gasstation sells it :D

Go to Kreuzberg and eat Döner, about the thing with Remoulade, I think Mayonnaise tastes
better when you get a Currywurst, for everything that involves fish I would take
Remoulade.

Mmmm I miss Germany/German food. Can't wait to go back...Although I must say that croquettes in Holland are the best fucking hangover/drunk/blazed food EVAR!

Maybe it's too classy to be mentioned here, but I fucking LOVE sauerbraten

Which one is that? Too many tube steaks in the fatherland...wow that sounded uber-gay!

I was not a fan of the currywurst when I was in Olympic park, Munich. The sauce kind of made me want to vom, but Bratwurst and anything other than weisswurst are ok in my book!

Nah, I'm usually not a fan of the wursts (too fatty, but currywurst and a few others RULE as an appetizer), sauerbraten is basically roast beef with some sort of specific gravy (not very thick and slightly sweet IME), always served with Spatzle (those little potato noodle things) and red cabbage - FUCK YES, salivating something fierce right now  I always get it at this place near me, absolutely incredible!
